Darius A. Stanton has over 30 years’ experience as an executive leader in the private and public sectors. Stanton is also an impactful motivational speaker & leadership coach. He currently serves as CEO of The Stanton Group Inc., a management and human development firm. Stanton was recently named managing partner of a renewable energy start-up Green Strategic Solutions. Stanton held the role of Vice President of The Clean Green Tour, international green education company. Prior to his work in the private for-profit sector Stanton held post as Vice President of Operations at Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s Greater Washington & Metro Baltimore affiliates. As a husband, father of three children, his family is very active in the Baltimore/Washington community. He serves as the immediate past chair of the Maryland Black Caucus Foundation, and he currently holds the position of Founding President of The New Village Academy Charter High School. Stanton served as Drug Czar in the Hopkins Administration. Stanton graduated with a master’s degree in human services administration from The Lincoln University. Stanton is also a newly appointed Commissioner of the State of Maryland Economic Development Commission.
